Neighborhood Attractions

The Manhattanville area is home to or near to some of New York's great attractions. It’s a short walk to 125th Street, the main thoroughfare and home to the world famous Apollo Theater. Just up the street on 135th Street is The Gatehouse Theater, the first new performance space built in Harlem in more than 20 years. Want to relax? Take a waterfront stroll at the West Harlem Piers (scheduled to open in summer 2007) or in beautiful Riverside Park. You can also find out who’s buried in Grant’s Tomb, the largest tomb in North America and a memorial to General Grant’s life and accomplishments.
